RULES

-This is not a tournament and performance does not affect selection of team placement or prizes.-Players can sign up early by using the link above to the google form, or can sign up at the event by sending a /tell to John Is-Dead (Hyur Male) at the event.

-Placement on a team is randomized by the websortteos app. John will attempt to make roster changes in order to avoid having one team vastly more skilled than the other to preserve a sense of fairness and fun, but it's impossible to know every player's skill level, so these adjustments may not always be effective. Try to remember to find fun and learning even in a loss.-In the event that there are more players than team spots, you may be passed over for a match. Feel free to hop in the spectator party and cheer for your friends in game or on stream.-Team rosters will be announced live on stream and via /shout chat in game. If your name is called, please join the team designated in the party finder.-Maps are selected by spinning a wheel on stream, then announced live on stream and via in game chat.-A ready check will be performed. If you are attacking a striking dummy it will automatically select "not ready" for your response. Please indicate asap that you are ready.-If you decide you no longer want to be called for team selections, please send John a /tell in game indicating you are done playing. This will help with down time so we are not trying to find you or wait for you.-After team assignments are announced the teams will face off in a best of three set. After a team secures two wins, the party will be disbanded, new rosters will be drawn up, and a new set of best of three will be played.-At the end of the event, a wheel with all the participants' names on it will be spun, and the winner will receive their prize. We will do our best to track you down if you win and you are no longer present, but everyone is encouraged to stay for the drawing so that we can make sure you get your prizes in a timely manner.-FFXIV/S.E. rules of player conduct are in effect. In general; cruel, hateful, or threatening conduct is not tolerated. Cheating or unsportsmanlike conduct is not tolerated. Violation of these rules, failure to treat fellow players and competitors with respect, or intentional disruption of the event will result in a possible ban from future events. If you feel you are tilting, give yourself a break before you act out.
